Camogie Update- 7th April 2022

Last weekend was a super weekend for Camogie in Straffan with a number of our teams getting out on the field to play matches. Take a look at what our teams got up to below:

U9s Go Games Blitz

Our U9s, joined by a number of our U8 girls, participated in their first blitz of the season in Maynooth. The girls got on brilliantly at their first blitz this year.

U12s Go Games Blitz

Straffan hosted their first U12s Go Games blitz of the season on Sunday. The girls played very well in their games and were lucky with some sunshine on the day!

U16s League Match

Our 16s had a great win over Naas (3) in the U16 clubs league. The girls face Celbridge 2 at home in their next game, we wish them the best of luck!

Adult Intermediate Match

Our Intermediate team (amalgamated with Rathcoffey) faced Maynooth in their first league match of the season, it was a close game right up until the end whistle. Straffan are delighted to see so many of our U17 girls playing with the team this year. We are also delighted to announce that the team will be captained by Straffan’s Aideen Walsh.
